Аннотация

De Haas–van Alphen oscillations have been observed in the ordered intermetallic compound Cd3Mg at 1.5 to 4.2 K in fields up to 70 kG. The angular dependence of the oscillation frequencies in the range of 2.1 to 6.0 MG was studied. Effective masses of carriers and Dingle temperatures were measured for some characteristic orientations of the magnetic field with respect to the crystal axes. The band structure of Cd3Mg is calculated on the basis of the Animalu-Heine model pseudopotentials. A model of the Fermi surface of Cd3Mg was constructed and an interpretation of the oscillations observed experimentally is proposed.
