Аннотация
This article describes the differences between linguistic typology of English and Uzbek languages. Linguistic typology (or language typology) is a field of linguistics that studies and classifies languages according to their structural features. Its aim is to describe and explain the common properties and the structural diversity of the world's languages. When compared English and Uzbek languages, we can notice that there are no similarities with regard to prepositions. But in case of gender, there are some similarities.
