Interpretation of the Incomplete Fusion of Nucleus as Quasifission of Dinuclear System
Аннотация
The measured cross sections of the evaporation residues formed in the complete and incomplete fusion channels of the $${}^{18}\textrm{O}+{}^{93}$$ Nb reaction have been described by the dinuclear system model. The incomplete fusion mechanism has been explained as a very asymmetric quasifission of the dinuclear system which is formed at the capture of the projectile nucleus by the target nucleus. The theoretical analysis of the evaporation residues formed in the incomplete fusion allows us to separate its contribution from the measured data for the evaporation residues of the compound nucleus accompanied by $$\alpha$$ particle. The excitation energy of the dinuclear system and the probability of the $$\alpha$$ -particle formation are calculated as a function of the orbital angular momentum of collision.
