This paper investigates the effectiveness of communication protocols between RFID readers and tags that track the location of cattle on livestock farms and transmit data to a database server. The study investigated the issue of building an infrastructure that will be the basis for developing an algorithm for monitoring the location of cattle using RFID technology.
