This article emphasizes that the task of the economic policy of each country should be the task of the socio-economic development of the regions, the implementation of investment policy, increasing the efficiency of investments, ensuring safe conditions for investment in various investment objects in the region. Because there are problems with attracting foreign investment in the territory of the republic. If we turn to world experience, then the main attention is focused on attracting foreign capital in the transformation of backward regions into developed ones.
