Creating a Panchronic Corpus of "Kutadgu bilig" and its Semantic Tagging

This article discusses the creation of a panchronic corpus of the work "Kutadgu bilig" by Yusuf Khos Hajib, a rare example of the literary language, literature and history of the 11th century, and its semantic tagging. Three copies of the work "Kutadgu bilig" are known to science to date, and we selected its Namangan copy for the corpus. The text of the Namangan copy prepared for publication by K. Karimov in 1971 and its poetic translation, as well as a prose commentary published in 1987 based on the edition developed in 1972, were included in the edition prepared. Since the original text of the work belongs to the 11th century, and the language of the work is somewhat distant from the modern Uzbek literary language, the tagging was done manually.
