The Use of Optocouplers in Signal Formation and Transmission in Security Systems

The paper discusses the use of optocouplers in forming and studying the ability of broadband radio signals to pass through obstacles made of various materials. An analysis of related works has been carried out. The main problems in signal transmission are considered. An autonomous optocoupler circuit for signalling the stoppage of a lift when it is switched off has been developed. When studying the propagation of broadband radio signals inside buildings through various reinforced concrete walls and elevator cabin walls made of iron plywood, signal levels were measured in a 9-storey residential building and corresponding graphs of dependence were constructed. The study obtained data on the influence of different materials on the propagation of broadband radio signals. Estimates were made of the passage of broadband Wi-Fi and LTE signals through various obstacles and between floors of the building.
