Аннотация

Global trend of digitizing the banking communication pose fundamental questions if the right to secure data transmission backed by intelligent internet communication protocols and data security frameworks of protecting financial information are destined to safety concerns. Although risk assessment is basically conducted in both technological and financial sectors, there is a little progress to systematize security-conscious organizations effectively. This research paper aims to explore how security protocol design criteria and institutional adoption levels are correlated in term of banking communication efficiency. Based on analytical testing using a multi-criteria evaluation of protocol performance indicators, our research made contribution to the growing body of intelligent financial cybersecurity literature by introducing modified TOPSIS decision model that takes into consideration of the vulnerability exposure, response latency, adoption readiness, and other influencing factors of adopting machine-intelligent system in banking environments. Findings confirmed that no significant relationship exists between small-scale banks and mid-scale banks with regard to overall protocol performance, but a significant difference is revealed among different bank categories in terms of data integrity, threat detection, and compliance assurance. The results also indicated that private-sector banks are ranked as the lowest of all types of financial institutions toward security protocol implementation in domains of threat detection, system responsiveness, and user authentication. Finally, it is suggested that government must play active role in incentivizing and enabling intelligent security system adoption. Thus, integrating the econometric analysis methods (regression and correlation) into analysis enabled us to spot the inter-variable relationship and we also consider the systemic consistency and applicability in intelligent banking communication.
