Аннотация

This chapter explores the conceptual and technological foundations of agentic AI—a transformative paradigm redefining autonomy in learning environments. Moving beyond automation, agentic AI emphasizes co-agency between humans and intelligent systems, enabling learners to set goals, reflect, and collaborate dynamically. The chapter grounds its discussion in constructivist and socio-cognitive theories, examines the architectures that enable perception, reasoning, and decision autonomy, and illustrates applications across educational settings. It further analyzes ethical and pedagogical implications, highlighting transparency, fairness, and teacher redefinition. Concluding with emerging trends—multimodal agency, lifelong learning agents, and affective co-learning—it envisions symbiotic, self-evolving educational ecosystems.
