Аннотация

Language diversity preserves cultural identity and social memory, fostering stronger communities. This research argues that language stability requires more than simplification, which erases cultural understanding, history, and traditional practices embedded in language. The chapter highlights how urban homogenization causes native languages to vanish as minority communities struggle to survive. It examines cultural decline and language extinction through economic, political, and social analyses. Digital transformation supports language preservation via educational programs and policy reforms. Technology-driven local revitalization in three initiatives offers a unified solution to halt language shift. In the “Antitussives” plan, experts, educators, activists, and policymakers collaborate on revival. The chapter calls for new perspectives on linguistic diversity to maintain cultural traditions. International collectives also contribute to language preservation, aiding multicultural societies in protecting their linguistic and cultural heritage.
