Аннотация

Ultrafast pump–probe spectroscopy is a promising approach for quantifying the kinetics of blood oxygenation in vivo, yet clinical evidence in real-world cardiology cohorts remains limited. This study investigates the feasibility and diagnostic value of femtosecond pump–probe measurements of hemoglobin oxygenation dynamics in cardiology patients treated at a tertiary center in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. A prospective panel of one hundred twenty adults with coronary artery disease, recent myocardial infarction, chronic heart failure, and structurally normal hearts underwent standardized spectroscopic assessment of whole blood alongside conventional clinical evaluation. Transient absorption kinetics following visible excitation were used to derive an ultrafast oxygenation half-time and a dimensionless oxygenation index. Comparative and dynamic analyses demonstrated systematically prolonged oxygen rebinding in patients with myocardial dysfunction and recent ischemic injury, even when routine oxygen saturation measurements remained preserved. These findings support the integration of ultrafast optical methods into multimodal phenotyping of cardiovascular risk in resource constrained settings
