DEVELOPMENT AND EFFICIENCY ASSESSMENT OF THE «SURGITRACK» OPTICAL SYSTEM FOR NAVIGATION AND TRACKING OF SURGICAL INSTRUMENTS IN REAL TIME

The article presents the development results of «SurgiTrack», a novel optical navigation system designed for high-precision real-time tracking of surgical instruments. Based on three-dimensional modeling of anatomical structures derived from CT/MRI datasets, the system minimizes the risks of intraoperative damage to critical areas. The hardware complex operates via a safe infrared tracking methodology. The paper details the system’s architecture, software integration with medical databases, and the commercial viability of implementing this technology into clinical workflows and medical university educational frameworks.
