Research Advances on Germplasm Resources and Cultivation of Zanthoxylum dissitum

Zanthoxylum dissitum is a kind of rare medicinal plants. The species classification and geographical distribution of Zanthoxylum dissitum were introduced,and the latest research advances on genetic diversity and artificial cultivation of Zanthoxylum dissitum were summarized. The distribution of Zanthoxylum dissitum is wide in china,but the resources tend to be endangered,thus the protection of wild germplasm resources and artificial cultivation of Zanthoxylum dissitum were attended by researchers. But at the present,there only have some research results on genetic diversity of wild population,germination characteristics of seeds and tissue culture. There are many problems to be solved. In the future, it should strengthen research on the wild germplasm resources investigation,seeding and cutting propagation,tissue culture and high-yield cultivation,and improve and establish cultivation technique system of Zanthoxylum dissitum.
