CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY: THE CURRENT STATE OF THE TEACHING SYSTEM BASED ON THE CREDIT-MODULE SYSTEM

It is known that the development of pharmacology leads to the enrichment of practical medicine with highly effective drugs. In 1971, the World Health Organization recognized clinical pharmacology, which is a major part of pharmacology, as a separate discipline. Clinical pharmacology consists of such parts as pharmacodynamics, pharmacokinetics, drug interactions, and their adverse effects. Also, in all universities of the Republic of Uzbekistan, especially in higher medical education, educational processes began to be organized on the basis of the credit-module system from 2020. And it is the credit-module system that has improved the quality of education and created a number of opportunities. This article provides scientific information on the role of clinical pharmacology in the healthcare system and in the development of science and technology, the history of its development and the development of clinical pharmacology as an independent discipline, and the organization of the teaching process of clinical pharmacology in higher medical education based on the credit-module system over the past 5 years.
