Аннотация

This study provides a comparative analysis of herbal preparation methods in Uzbek and Korean traditional medicine. In Uzbekistan, herbs are commonly used in dried form for patient-prepared remedies, which carries cultural value but may limit active compound extraction. In contrast, Korean medicine employs controlled decoction methods that ensure higher concentrations of bioactive compounds, consistent dosing, and improved patient compliance. Findings suggest that adopting decoction-based forms, such as granules or ready-to-drink extracts, could enhance bioavailability and therapeutic outcomes in Uzbek practice. This approach aligns with Ibn Sina’s principle of “integrating tradition with innovation,” preserving cultural heritage while improving clinical effectiveness.
