Kenji Morita received his B.S. degree in 1963 from the Tokyo Institute of Technology. The same year, he joined NGK Insulators, Ltd. After working on the design of transmission and substation insulators, he engaged mainly in the development and diffusion of lightning protection devices using zinc oxide element for power transmission. Currently, he is a Corporate Director and Group Executive of Engineering Group in Electric Power Business Sector
