Annotatsiya

Nonlinear electric conductivity of dirty point contacts between clean conductors is studied under the condition when the elastic scattering length is comparable with the de Broglie wavelength λF, of electrons. It is shown that the second derivative of the I–V characteristics has maxima whose positions coincide with the maxima of the electron–phonon interaction (EPI) function. However the sign of the point-contact (PC) spectrum is opposite to that in the ballistic or diffuse charge transport. Thus, the possibility of PC spectroscopy of EPI is established in highly disordered materials where the quantum localization of electrons is significant.
