Annotatsiya

The specific features of acoustic vibrations in conductors with heavy electrons (HE) are considered in terms of the jelly model. It is shown that such conductors, which are similar in composition and density but have different HE masses, may have different values of the velocity of sound. If the Fermi velocity of HE is comparable with the velocity of sound (but is not higher), a strong damping of acoustic vibrations due to their resonance interaction with HE can be expected.
