Annotatsiya
The structural features of natural polysaccharides-cellulose and chitin and their derivates-are considered. Literature data on electron microscopy of natural polysaccharides are analyzed and summarized. The influence of the supramolecular structure on the characteristics of materials determining many of its features is demonstrated. Interesting data on sizes of crystallites whose homogeneity in size and shape significantly influences the physicochemical features of the materials are presented.
