The article is devoted to the study of the word in the linguoculturological aspect. There is an increased interest of cultural scientists and linguists in the word and gastronomic discourse, as well as the need to study lexical-semantic and linguacultural features the words about food. In this article was given some examples and information about the topic of food in English.
