Optical Properties of ZnO–LiNbO3 and ZnO–LiNbO3:Fe Structures

In the work is devoted to the study of the optical properties of ZnO nanorods grown on LiNbO3 and LiNbO3:Fe (0.03 wt %) substrates. The morphology and absorption spectra of the resulting semiconductor-ferroelectric structures are analyzed. According to it, the band gap of the structures is in the range of 3.34–3.86 eV, absorption coefficients (1.9099–3.5137 for the visible region and 2.0585–4.2344 for the UV region). Refractive index calculated using various empirical formulas.
