Annotatsiya

The rapid growth in vehicle traffic intensity on the road increases the load on the paving and subgrade. In addition, the road structure is influenced by the water regime of the local area. When the subgrade is waterlogged, the soils partially lose their strength properties, such as the modulus of elasticity, cohesion force, and the angle of internal friction. Under waterlogging of the soil, the location of the groundwater level plays an important role. In the dry zone, due to intensive leaching of agricultural fields and difficult drainage, there is an abrupt rise in the groundwater horizon, which creates a great risk of a gradual increase in waterlogging of the subgrade soils. The article proposes differential equations describing the water-thermal regime of the roadbed with deep and shallow groundwater occurrence under lateral moistening. To ensure the specified strength of the roadway in areas with long-term stagnation of wastewater, it is important to remove the curb of the road surfacing to a certain distance from the side collectors. In the course of experimental studies conducted to determine the phase composition of water in roadbed soils of the highways in Uzbekistan, it was found that in the upper part of the roadbed, due to the infiltration of atmospheric precipitation, the inflow of moisture abruptly decreases with depth. The moisture migration from below occurs mainly in a vapor state due to thermal diffusion of water vapor.
