Annotatsiya

The republic is facing the urgent task of providing the population with drinking water, especially in rural areas. The water sources available there are heavily contaminated with pathogenic bacteria, and they must be disinfected before use. The most common disinfection methods in practice are considered: chlorination and ultraviolet irradiation. However, the formation of carcinogenic compounds in water during chlorination and the need for significant capital costs lead to the abandonment of this method in the practice of underground agricultural water supply. Their low productivity limits the use of ultraviolet irradiation installations. The most promising is the application of the method of electromagnetic water treatment.The paper proposed to use pulsed magnetic fields. The method is characterized by high bactericidal efficiency, low energy consumption and reagent-freeness. Experimental studies have been carried out to find out optimal process parameters of using pulsed magnetic fields. According to them, the optimal processing time is 2 s; magnetic field induction – 11.7 T; the frequency of the magnetic field is – 12 Hz.It was found that the processing time (t), magnetic field induction (B) and its frequency (f) have the most significant effect on the disinfection process. The experiments were carried out using Box-Behnken designs of type B3. After checking the significance of the corresponding coefficients of the equation and testing the hypothesis about the adequacy of the mathematical model, an equation was obtained that describes the process of water disinfection by pulsed electromagnetic fields.
