Annotatsiya

This study presents data on species composition, density, and the diversity indicators of reptiles in the mountainous area of Kashkadarya region, and the ecological factors influencing these indicators. Shannon-Weaver, Brillouin, Margalef species richness, Relative diversity, and Evenness indices were calculated as the main diversity indices. Notably, the research indicates that reptile diversity in the mountainous area is influenced by various factors including human activity (Anthropogenic factors), terrain, vegetation coverage, elevation, and soil composition. Among these factors, elevation and anthropogenic factors were identified as the primary determinants in the surveyed areas.
