Smart City Network Traffic Management Based on SDN
Annotatsiya
The paper considers the data traffic processing system in a segmented mobile network in smart cities. Smart cities have a number of services and applications with different quality of service (QoS) requirements. The paper focuses on solving the latency problem, which is a key performance indicator in terms of QoS, in time-sensitive applications in smart cities. Therefore, when considering a certain smart system, it is worth considering a set of traffic from VoIP to M2M devices. Using the Anylogic simulation program, the paper presents the process of data traffic processing in the uplink. In this case, all traffic is divided into three segmentation levels by QoS: sensitive, less sensitive and low sensitivity. For smart city networks, an important condition for implementation is to achieve minimal latency and maximum data transfer rate within the QoS.
