Properties of Octupole States $${}^{{238}}$$U
Annotatsiya
The energies and electrical properties of the octupole states of the $${}^{238}$$ U nucleus are studied within the framework of a phenomenological model considering the Coriolis mixing of rotational bands. Mixing of the low-lying negative parity bands is considered. The energies, the structures of states of rotational bands with $$K^{{\pi}}=0^{-}$$ , $$1^{-}$$ , $$2^{-}$$ , $$3^{-}$$ , and the reduced probabilities of E1 transitions are calculated. Theoretical energy values and $$E$$ 1 transitions’ probabilities are compared with the experimental data. Good agreement between experimental data and theoretical results is obtained.
