Abstract As it is known, asymptotic normalization coefficient (ANC) is a fundamental nuclear characteristic of bound states and resonances. The analysis of the angular distribution of the neutron transfer reaction 16 O(d,p) 17 O have been performed within the modified distorted wave born approximation. The results of the analysis showed that the reaction is peripheral. The weighted mean values of the asymptotic normalization coefficients for 16 O+n→ 17 O(5/2 + ;E= 0.0 MeV) and 16 O+n→ 17 O(1/2 + ;E= 0.87 MeV) configurations with their uncertainties have been determined from the experimental differential cross sections of the 16 O(d,p) 17 O reaction in the main peak of angular distribution.
