ELECTRIC PULSED TREATMENT OF PERMANENT WEED RHIZOMES AND OPTIMIZATION OF PLANT DISCHARGE PARAMETERS
Annotatsiya
The article discusses the results of experiments on the elimination of perennial rhizome weeds with electric discharge, and the optimization of discharge parameters of these plants. The specific volume and specific surface resistance of the components were evaluated using a three-electrode system. An electrical model of plant tissue was developed, and the polarization coefficient was determined by comparing the resistance values before and after treatment. Graphs of dependencies of impedance dispersion on frequency and of polarization coefficient on pulse discharge voltage, duration of treatment time, number of pulses, and specific energy consumption have been compiled. The results reveal that significant factors providing the highest efficiency at the level of discharge voltage Up = 7 kV, a storage capacitor capacity of C = 1 · 10–9 F, and a treatment duration of τ = 0.6 s, with an observation period of T = 30 days.
