Research problem is due to the need for monitoring diagnostics of the level of development of the culture of intellectual work of students and insufficient development of its methodological and technological content. The constituent components of the development of a culture of intellectual work are aimed at the implementation of integrative functional competencies on the basis of research design of system-activity paths and approaches to organizing the intellectual work of students. The aim of the study is: modeling, which allows to consider the model as a process of purposeful and conscious mastering by students of a certain degree of culture of intellectual work, taking into account the peculiarities of the educational environment. Conclusions and recommendations. The presents a methodological and technological model for the development of a culture of intellectual work of students, including interrelated content blocks that ensure the integrity of planning and design, forecasting and monitoring diagnostics of the process aimed at developing CIW of students on the basis of research design. The developed model of methodological and technological content acts as a scientific foundation for the development and implementation of new tools, techniques for the development of the degree of culture of intellectual work of students. The model can be implemented in educational institutions of various types.
