INVESTIGATION OF THERMOPHYSICAL AND ENERGY CHARACTERISTICS OF COAL–WATER FUEL
Annotatsiya
The article notes that under conditions of fluctuations in global fuel markets and the growing need to improve energy security, the development of energy-efficient and environmentally safe coal-based fuels is becoming increasingly important. A method for producing coal–water fuel based on Angren lignite, pyrolytic char, pyrolysis liquid, water, and a plasticizing additive is proposed. The thermophysical properties of the developed coal–water fuel was determined using calculated relationships for multicomponent systems and verified by experimental data. The density, viscosity, thermal conductivity, and thermal diffusivity of the composite fuel were evaluated. A comparison of calculated and experimental results showed satisfactory agreement, confirming the validity of the applied methodology. It was found that the use of the developed coal-water fuel ensures a high combustion efficiency (up to 95-98%), reduces emissions of harmful components, and improves the efficiency of fuel resource utilization.
