Annotatsiya

This paper examines the principles and practices underpinning effective lesson planning in contemporary Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). Moving beyond traditional, rigid templates, modern approaches emphasize flexibility, learner-centeredness, and alignment with theoretical principles. This article analyzes prevalent instructional frameworks (PPP, TTT, TBL, ESA), deconstructs the core structure of a lesson plan, and delineates the essential elements required for creating dynamic, objective-driven learning experiences. It argues that a sophisticated understanding of these components enables educators to make informed pedagogical choices, adapt to emergent classroom realities, and facilitate deeper language acquisition.
