Annotatsiya

Grammar instruction has long been a central component of language education; however, traditional approaches to teaching grammar have often been criticized for their limited effectiveness in promoting communicative competence. In response to these concerns, modern language pedagogy has shifted toward more learner-centered, interactive, and communicative methods. This article explores contemporary methods and techniques for teaching grammar in English language classrooms. The study examines current theoretical foundations, instructional methods, classroom techniques, and their pedagogical outcomes. The findings suggest that modern grammar teaching methods—such as task-based learning, inductive instruction, technology-enhanced learning, and communicative grammar teaching—significantly improve learners’ grammatical accuracy, fluency, and motivation. The article concludes by discussing implications for teachers and curriculum designers.
