Abstract

It has been shown that on the base of silicon with multicharged nanoclusters of magnesium atoms it is possible to create more sensitive quantometers of IR radiation with high resolution, particularly in the IR spectrum of solar radiation. The quantum efficiency coefficient of the developed quantometers for the region λ = 1.55–8 μm has been determined. The obtained results are explained by the exponential distribution of the spectrum of nanoclusters’ energetic levels in the range ΔE = E V + 0.16−E V + 0.5 eV.
