Advancing E-Learning and M-Learning Environments Incorporating AI and Gamification to Boost Learner Motivation

This paper argues for advancing e-learning and m-learning platforms by integrating immersive technologies like AI, predictive analytics, gamification and extended reality. Incorporating personalization, microlearning, incentives and real-world scenarios can address engagement gaps with conventional self-paced platforms. Recommendations are provided for national implementation encompassing policy directives, funding support, capability frameworks, educator training and public-private partnerships. Optimized digital learning ecosystems can enable sticky, motivated and experiential learning essential for the digital era.
