Determination of the mechanisms of photovoltage generation in semiconductor films from spectral dependences of the absorption coefficient and photovoltage

A method is proposed for determining the mechanism of photovoltage generation in semiconductor films: separation of carriers on p-n junction or carrier photodiffusion. The method is based on the spectral characteristics of absorption coefficient and photovoltage.
