Study of essential and toxic elements in dried fruits of the Tashkent Region using the method of neutron activation analysis
Аннотация
Using the method of neutron activation analysis the contents of magnesium, calcium, sodium, potassium, chlorine, copper, zinc, iron, chromium, molybdenum, cobalt and mercury were determined in dried apricots, two types of raisins, prunes and persimmons. Depending on the type of dried fruits, the data for Mg vary between 500-1140 µg/g; Ca: 8100-20300 µg/g; Na: 190-600 µg/g; K: 4800-16200 µg/g; Cl: 380-1300 µg/g; Cu: 6.27 µg/g; Zn: 2.0-4.3 µg/g; Fe: 20.7-65.4 µg/g; Cr: 0.42-6.07 µg/g; Mn: 4.35-64.60 µg/g; Mo: 0.058-0.285 µg/g; Co: 0.016-0.023 µg/g; Hg: 0.026-0.127 µg/g. The obtained values are compared with the data of USA, the one of the largest consumers of dried fruits. Conclusions are drawn on the possible use of the study results.
