Philosophical categories change in accordance with the expansion of the object of study. For example, modern scientific knowledge studies complex systemic objects, and some classical philosophical ideas cannot provide adequate knowledge. Therefore, such philosophical categories as determinism, randomness, uncertainty, chaos, society, state, human being, good and evil, beautiful and ugly, and others acquire somewhat different functions in the study of modern complex systems compared to their interpretation as classical categories of philosophy.
